The rain that started earlier in the morning completely cleared and there was not a drop during our session The girls kept saying how gorgeous it was – because it was!!!! Quiet, still and warm with light cloud cover after the rain…. leaving us perfect trekking weather and gorgeous fresh nature!

Monday Week 8 – With Lisa

Yay!! – truly a day of “5 mins from the city and 1000 miles from care”. With perfect walking weather – a little dryer, a little cooler  – the meanderings of the Lane Cove River offered wonderful surprises at every turn. From boardwalks through mangroves, open sunny banks, quintessential Sydney sandstone outcrops to a cove filled with the distinctive Bellbird call. Just magical…and all in the heart of our city.

Thursday Week 8 – With Rozzie

From Lane Cove National park through “Fairy Lands” and onto the Great North Walk to the boardwalks over mangrove swaps to Sugar Loaf Point a gorgeous hidden beach on the river …… so much to see on out trekking adventure. Nearly 1000 stairs where climbed and 12kms trekked.  An awesome way to finish off our first term.  Well done girls!!
