BOOKING POLICY.

CLASS BOOKINGS

  • Bookings are essential to attend all classes at FIT and can be done via the FIT Lane Cove app or online.

  • Bookings for all classes open 7 days prior to class commencement (ie you cannot book classes more that 7 days in advance)

  • Daily booking window is 5.15am to midnight (ie classes can be booked inside these hours only)*

  • Due to the high demand for spots in certain classes and studios, members may only book a maximum of one class per day in a studio. Only one class can be booked at the same chronological time, this includes overlapping classes and applies to waiting list spots as well as bookings. You can not book back-to-back classes in one studio.*

  • If you do not arrive at the studio before the class start time, your place may be given away to those on the waiting list. This is at the discretion of the instructor.

  • Any member who has booked multiple classes in a studio on a given day will retain their earliest booked class only, and have any subsequent bookings automatically cancelled. This will occur without notice to the member, and all remaining class bookings will still be visible to the member via the FIT Lane Cove app.


*An application for booking multiple same-day classes in any studio may be made via email to the Concierge Team. This is at the sole discretion of management and, if granted, may be revoked at any time.
*A different class style/studio may be attended back-to-back.

CANCELLATION OF CLASS BOOKINGS

  • Cancellations are without charge and can be done up to 30 mins prior to class commencement to be counted as an early cancellation. 

  • The FIT App will automatically notify the next member on the waitlist that they have been accepted and added into the class. Early cancellations allow the next member on the waitlist the opportunity to accept or decline their spot in the class (using “N” option in reply).

  • Any bookings cancelled less than 30 mins prior to class commencement are counted as a late cancellation.

LATE CANCELLATION OF CLASSES AND CLASS NO SHOW POLICY

  • Members who continue to choose not to work with us to reduce their late cancellation and no-show rates will be given a warning, followed by having their ability to book classes suspended for 14 days.

Infrared Sauna bookings

All Infrared Sauna sessions are 45mins, after which the session finishes and the FIT team will clean and reset the sauna for the next session. Bookings open 3 days prior to session commencement.
 

Terms and Conditions of Infrared Sauna Use

  1. Bookings are essential

  2. Members must check in to the sauna via reception

  3. 2x towels must be used at all times while in the sauna

  4. Members must only book one Infrared sauna session per day. Any occurrence of multiple same-day bookings may result in cancellation of all bookings on that day and this is at the sole discretion of management.

  5. If in doubt as to the advisability of using an Infrared sauna please consult your health professional before use.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ICE BATH USE

  1. Please shower before using the Ice Bath

  2. Ensure the Ice Bath lid remains on and only flip halfway. The ice bath is like a fridge so we need to keep the lid closed when not in use.

  3. Please use a towel after the Ice Bath plunge to not walk water through the changing rooms. Be mindful of other club members.

  4. The Ice Bath has a sanitisation and UV system and the filter is cleaned on a regular basis to maintain the high standards we set in the cleanliness of the club.

  5. The Ice Bath is set between 3 degrees to 6 degrees. If you have any health issues that you are unsure will be affected by the use of an Ice Bath you should check with your health professional before use.

Personal Training Terms and Conditions

  1. Please make sure all of your personal details, including contact phone and email are up to date with FIT, as well as your Emergency Contact Person.

  2. FIT Personal Training is a product used within FIT Lane Cove, therefore all the membership Terms and Conditions of a membership at FIT Lane Cove also apply to a member purchasing a FIT Personal Training product.

  3. Cancellation Policy: You must notify FIT (not FIT Personal Trainer) 24 hours in advance of your FIT Personal Training session if you wish to cancel that session. Any cancellations within 24 hours of the session start time are not able to be cancelled and will be counted as a paid session.

  4. All FIT Personal Training sessions are booked and modified through reception at FIT Lane Cove’s front counter or via phone or email. FIT Personal Trainers will not accept booking alterations or session payments directly from members. A receipt for every purchase can be provided if requested.

  5. It is highly recommended that you complete a complimentary FIT CONSULT before starting in the club, or a FIT Personal Training session, whether that be a single product purchase or package.

  6. All FIT Personal Trainers are insured under the FIT Lane Cove Insurance Policy and carry an up to date First Aid Certificate.

  7. The screening system used by FIT Personal Training, FIT CONSULT in no way guarantees against injury or death. Under FIT Lane Cove’s Public Liability and Professional Indemnity, any persons exercising at FIT Lane Cove and/or using a FIT product acknowledges the warning, exclusion of liability and release and indemnity and assume with full knowledge the dangers in participating in fitness activities and do so at their own risk, in line with your Membership Terms and Conditions.

  8. All FIT Personal Training products are non-refundable, except in circumstances where medical documentation shows that it would be unsafe to continue with physical exercise and fitness activities. In this case, sessions will be refunded to the amount outstanding.

  9. FIT products have a 12 month expiry date from the date of purchase. These are transferable to another current FIT Lane Cove member.

  10. If you notice injury or reasonable pain during a FIT Personal Training session, it is your responsibility to notify the Trainer as soon as the injury or reasonable pain occurs to apply necessary first aid and take reasonable steps to ensure injury or pain does not increase due to the fitness activities of the session.


Any Personal Training purchases made either in the club or online acknowledge and agree with the above FIT Personal Training Terms and Conditions without exception.
