KIDS CLUB

Kids Club is a free child minding service available to all FIT members.

We provide a safe, enjoyable and always entertaining place for children to play and interact with others while parents/guardians enjoy the facilities at our Club.

Please note, bookings are essential and can be made up to 7 day in advance. You can optionally register for an account to save your information for faster scheduling and to track your previous bookings. Just click on the SIGN UP button and follow the prompts.

Please make sure to cancel your booking following the prompts within the confirmation email if you are not able to make your allocated booking or contact our concierge team directly.

  • The Kids Club operates from 8am to 1pm Monday through Saturday. Please note that it is closed on public holidays and for a brief period during the Christmas and New Year holidays. Any alterations to the club's hours will be conveyed by our staff. Each visit is limited to a maximum of 2 hours. The Kids Club closes promptly at the designated time, and staff are not permitted to remain beyond closing. Children are not allowed in the club outside of its operating hours. The club reserves the right to adjust its operating hours as necessary.

  • Members must book their child(ren) into the kids club in order to use the service, and no walk-in attendances will be accepted. Bookings must be made online per child. There is a strict capacity of 15 children bookable per 60 min window, and the club reserves the right to refuse any children who are not booked and which will result in overcapacity.

  • Parents/Guardians must register each child individually each time they use the service. On arrival you must sign each child in on the registration schedule, state your location whilst exercising and time of entry. This is essential information in the event you are required to care for your child or for an emergency evacuation. The parent/guardian must sign out their children before leaving.

  • Every parent/guardian must remain on the premises and be contactable at all times. Please remember parents/guardians are responsible for the care of the child, as such, if called to the Kids Club you must return immediately. The Management and staff of the FIT Lane Cove accept no responsibility at all for children left in the care of the Kids Club Staff, and while all Kids Club Staff have a Working with Children check, are not formally qualified in child care.

    Please be advised that no parent/guardian is to leave FIT Lane Cove premises at any time whilst their children are in the Kids Club, and that no child is permitted to exit the Kids Club without being accompanied by the parent/guardian who signed them in.

  • Kids Club is provided for children aged 6 weeks and older. Guests are not permitted.

  • All children under 24 months or who are not walking must be brought in a pram/stroller.

    Children require a clean nappy on arrival. The staff will happily change your babies’ nappies if you wish. You will need to provide your own nappies, wipes, a change of clothes and any other comfort items. Please Note: If you require the staff to change nappies on your behalf a consent form must be filled in.

    A bottle of water and food is allowed into the Kids Club, however there is a strict no nut policy at all times. Any member who brings nuts into the Kids Club may be refused access in the future at the sole discretion of management.

  • If your child is due to be fed at a certain time, we ask that you attend to this before you commence your workout or return to do so as needed. If your child requires to go to the toilet while they are in the Kids Club, they will be taken to the female bathroom with a female staff member.

    Parents/guardians are to inform the staff if they do not wish for their child to be taken to the toilet. It is recommended that parent/guardian take their child to the toilet before they sign their child into the Kids Club.

    Nappy changing consent forms are available at the Kids Club desk. This form helps ensure transparency and clear communication between parents/guardians and staff regarding the handling of nappy changes.

  • Parents and guardians are responsible for informing our staff of any allergies or dietary restrictions their child may have. We encourage parents to provide necessary medications, such as EpiPens, and detailed allergy action plans for their child while attending our Kids Club activities.

    By enrolling your child in our Kids Club, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with potential allergen exposure. FIT Lane Cove and its staff will not be held liable for any allergic reactions that may occur during or after participation in Kids Club activities.

  • To prevent the spread of germs and illness to our staff and other children, FIT Lane Cove does not accept sick or unwell children into the Club.

    The Club cannot accept the responsibility of sick children.

    Parents/guardians are asked to keep their child at home in these circumstances. FIT Lane Cove and Kids Club staff reserves the right to refuse entry to or request immediate collection of any child who is deemed to bedemonstrating any of the above symptoms. This decision is at the sole discretion of FIT Lane Cove.

  • Upon any evacuation notification from Centre Management or Staff, it is your responsibility to immediately attend to the Kids Club, collect and remove your child from the premises as per the Club’s evacuation procedure.
