FIT CONNECT

FIT CONNECT IS OUR WAY OF CULTIVATING A CONNECTION TO THE BROADER COMMUNITY AROUND US AND HELPING THOSE IN NEED.

WE WORK WITH KEY CHARITABLE PARTNERS TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO THOSE IN NEED THROUGH FUNDRAISING EVENTS AND MONETARY DONATIONS.

BUTTERFLY FOUNDATION.

Support for eating disorders & body image issues.

Over 1.1 million Australians are living with an eating disorder, less than a third of those receive treatment or support. Butterfly changes lives by providing innovative, evidence-based support services, treatment and resources, delivering prevention and early intervention programs and advocating for the needs of the community.

Butterfly highlights the realities for those seeking treatment for recovery, and advocates for improved access to effective, affordable care. Throughout its work Butterfly also emphasises the critical importance of prevention and early intervention strategies in limiting the development of, and suffering from, negative body image and eating disorders.

THE GOOD BOX

Give a box. Have a chat. Change a life.

We’ve partnered with The Good Box who do incredible work creating specialised gift boxes for people within our communities that are homeless. Join the movement and discover a new transparent way of giving.

Each box contains everyday essentials like socks, toothpaste and snacks that are easy to take for granted, but are vital assistance for someone who doesn’t have much. Beyond handing out beautiful gifts, it’s about facilitating positive conversations and helping to restore dignity to those who are doing it tough. Boxes can be given directly to a member of the community or distributed by The Good Box and their network of charities to men and women on the streets.

At FIT we have such a strong and supportive community around us, we wanted to spread that support even further and create a bridge from one community to another.

You can get involved by simply purchasing a box for someone in need.
