Homemade Burger Patties
Making your own burger patties from scratch means that you know exactly what’s in them. And it’s easy to do with just a handful of ingredients!
Homemade Burger Patties (makes 4 large patties)
Ingredients:
500g Heart Smart extra lean beef mince
½ cup rolled oats
¼ cup lite milk
1 egg
1 clove of garlic, finely minced
½ teaspoon salt
Pepper to taste
Sunflower oil, for frying
Method:
Mix all ingredients, except the oil, together in a large bowl.
Shape mixture into 4 patties.
Heat 2 tsp of sunflower oil in a large non-stick frying pan.
Fry burger patties on low-medium heat for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until thoroughly cooked through.
